Today we are going to take a break from Scrapbooking Essentials because I want to share with you what we made at today's Kid Stamp Camp. Who says going back to school can't be fun? Especially when you have the coolest school supplies in your class. The kids at today's class were amazingly creative. They took what I designed and made it their own. I love crafting with kids, especially stamping, they can be so inspiring.
Aren't these adorable? Girly and a little bit of Shabby Chic. When designing a class, workshop or event I try to stick to the same colors or theme. Today was no exception. We used the Razzleberry Lemonade and three of the new In Colors-Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. Of course I had to throw some Big Shot dies in there as well. =)
This notebook is just your standard composition notebook. Nothing fancy. We glued white cardstock on the cover and the back (the back is decorated too I just forgot to take a picture). This was our base. Than we just decorated to our heart's content.
This is just a $0.50 pencil box that I bought at Wal-Mart. It was so plain that I knew it would be perfect to dress up. We just made a belly band around the box and attached it with sticky strip. Super cute and easy.
The last project we did was this bag badge. This is just a fun little tag the kids can tie to their backpacks! We glued the paper onto both sides of the chipboard. Waited for it to dry completely than ran all of it through the Big Shot using the Scallop Circle Die.
My next Kid Class will be my Build-A-Bear Open House on September 13 from 2-4pm.
